Trombetas, the river of giant fish. Welcome to the sport fishing sanctuary in the Amazon of Pará. Tucuna Turismo Fishing takes you to explore the Trombetas River and its tributary, the Arapari River, destinations coveted worldwide for their preservation and the sheer power of their fish — a fishing region from Km 16, the start of the Jascuri River, to Km 56, the Tajá/Rio do Velho region, Pará. Check-in takes place at Manaus Airport, with the air taxi taking off at 10am; after about 1h40 of flight to the Cachoeira Porteira community, a 35km dirt road leads to the lodge, with the return to Manaus starting on day 7.

Itinerary: day 1 — check-in at Manaus Airport (air taxi) at 9am, takeoff at 10am, baggage limited to 18kg (excess is charged or left behind); lunch in the Cachoeira Porteira community and transfer to the lodge · days 2 through 6 — fishing · day 7 — departure from the lodge after breakfast, return to Manaus; we recommend booking your flight home for after 6pm that same day
